Quiet operation makes this ideal for personal use or in offices. Shred up to 20 sheets at one time and up to 100 sheets per minute. The Shredstar X20 has an auto start when paper is loaded and stops automatically when done shredding. There is a separate slot for CD’s, DVD’s, credit cards to be shredded and a separate waste bin for them. Paper clips and staples will not jam the Shredstar X20. The built in Anti-Jam mechanism automatically reverses the paper to prevent jamming and tell you to reduce pages in the event of an overload. And when the bin is full the Shredstar X20 automatically shuts down.
The LED indicator light gives the status of the machine- Power, Overload, Overheat, Bin Full, Door Open. Inspection window of the front of bin allows you always see the level of waste in the bin. The Shredstar X20 has a waste capacity of 6.9 gallons and the bin is easily removed for emptying.
